Frequently Asked Questions (B2B)

What is your Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ)?

As a B2B supplier, MOQs vary by product line. Generally, for standard fasteners like screws and bolts, we require case-pack quantities. Please contact our sales team for specific MOQ details on your required items.

Do you provide custom manufacturing or OEM services?

Yes, BuildMate Hardware provides custom manufacturing for specific hardware requirements. We can produce fasteners and brackets according to your technical drawings (blueprints) or samples. Custom orders typically require a higher MOQ and a non-refundable deposit.

What are your standard payment terms for international orders?

For new international clients, we typically operate on T/T (Telegraphic Transfer) terms: a 30% deposit to start production and 70% balance before shipment. For long-term partners and large-scale projects, we can discuss Letter of Credit (L/C) options.

Which Incoterms do you support for shipping?

We primarily operate under FOB (Free On Board) or CIF (Cost, Insurance, and Freight) terms. However, we are flexible and can arrange EXW or DDP shipping depending on your logistics capabilities and destination country.

How do you ensure product quality and structural integrity?

Quality control is central to our operations. We conduct material testing and dimensional inspections for every batch. Upon request, we can provide Material Test Reports (MTRs) and Certificates of Conformance (CoC) for industrial fasteners.

Can I request samples before placing a bulk order?

Yes, we encourage sample evaluation. We can provide standard samples free of charge, though the buyer is responsible for international express shipping costs. Custom samples may incur a tooling fee.

How are import duties and customs handled?

The buyer is responsible for all import duties, taxes, and local customs clearance fees in the destination country. We provide all necessary commercial invoices, packing lists, and Certificates of Origin to facilitate a smooth customs process.
